The ROADS newsletter has been in operation since the project began. However, there is a rather large gap between issue 4 and issue 5 (basically, despite it being the most intense year of work on ROADS and in the ROADS-based subject gateways, there was no issue in 1997).

Issues 1 to 4 of the newsletter have been kept in their original format, with as few alterations to the content as possible, for historical purposes. You may find that some URLS do not work, and some of the ROADS and subject gateway developments referred to has been superseded by new work, technologies and directions.
