ADAM needs friends...

The Friends of ADAM is a network of trusted, trained volunteers who assist in the development of the Art, Design, Architecture & Media Information Gateway.

The publicly-available pages provide comprehensive information about the Friends of ADAM, details of the training that will be provided, and also a form that allows on-line enrollment.

Upon enrollment, newly-registered Friends will be e-mailed a username and password that is their key to the Friends of ADAM Studio, from where they will be able to:

• Take tests to receive certificates of achievement in the evaluation and cataloguing of networked resources to ADAM standards;

• Nominate networked resources for inclusion in the ADAM catalogue;

• Evaluate networked resources suggested for inclusion in the ADAM catalogue by the public;

• Catalogue approved networked resources for inclusion in the ADAM catalogue;

• Contribute to the development of national service for the visual arts in UK Higher Education;

• Learn new and valuable skills;
